Shipping & Receiving Operator

Job Description

The Shipping & Receiving Operator (SRO) will work in a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment. This position is responsible for moving, locating, stacking, and counting merchandise using warehouse equipment. The SRO must safely and efficiently operate forklifts, perform order fulfillment tasks, verify order accuracy, and inspect equipment before each use.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate warehouse equipment to handle and organize merchandise.
• Fulfill and verify customer orders with accuracy.
• Inspect assigned forklift or machinery prior to use.
• Maintain safety and attention to detail in all tasks.

Requirements:
• Basic understanding of heavy-duty truck parts and specifications.
• Experience operating forklifts and using RF scanners.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits.
